ISDC has negotiated a nightly room rate of only $99 per night (subject to availablity), plus tax, for the duration of the conference. This fantastic rate is best booked online, via the link above.
The hotel is nearing capacity, and the $99 room rate is not available on certain nights. However, the room types that are currently available at special discounted prices are:
Club Floor rooms - $129 per night With Continental Breakfast in Club Lounge
Executive Suite rooms - $150 per night
Corner Suite rooms - $175 per night

OVERFLOW HOTEL ANNOUNCED: ISDC has made arrangements with the Crowne Plaza Hotel to serve as a backup hotel for ISDC attendees if they cannot make reservations at the Sheraton. The Crowne Plaza is right next to the Sheraton and the room rate will be the same, $99 per night.
When calling in to place reservations you MUST reference the group as “International Space Development Conference” with an arrival starting as early as Wednesday, 5/3/06 and departure as late as Sunday, 5/7/06. Guest room rates are $99.00 per day plus 14.1% occupancy tax. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is Noon. The 2006 ISDC will be held at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, located just moments away from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Free Shuttle Service from LAX airport to the Sheraton Gateway Hotel can be accessed by exiting the luggage area at the airport and walking to the center traffic island. Go to the red HOTEL COURTESY TRAM STOP sign. The Sheraton Gateway bus is blue & silver and arrives about every 15 minutes.

Importance of Staying in the Conference Hotel
In order to book the LA meeting, the organizers had to contract for a block of sleeping rooms in the hotel. If we do not fill these blocks, financial penalties will be incurred. This ultimately impacts the health of our societies and consequently registration fees. Equally to the point -- it is more fun! So please stay at the Sheraton Gateway.

Driving directions from LAX Airport: Exit the airport via Century Boulevard, to the first stop light which is Avion Street, hotel is on the left.
